NREL have provided the public with the "PVWatts": A useful Performance Calculator for Grid-Connected PV Systems. According to NREL website: "Researchers at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory developed PVWATTS to permit non-experts to quickly obtain performance estimates for grid-connected PV systems."

NREL have provided the public with another useful tool: The PVWattsTM calculator. It allows users to substitute its default input parameters with custom values. Learn how to change the PVWatts parameters for: DC rating, DC-to-AC derate factor, Array type, Tilt angle, Azimuth angle, Electricity cost.
